Bittersweet Jason Derulo

The story of Bittersweet Symphony has a lot of drama attached to it. Using a sample from the symphonic version of Rolling Stones’ The Last Time, The Verve, the Rolling Stones and Andrew Oldham have been suing each other up until as recently as last year.

So it should be a surprise to no one that Jason Derulo couldn’t get the sample cleared. It got replaced with different instrumentation in the actual release, but I really like this demo version:
