Guess who is celebrating her 52nd bday today??? That’s right, Ms. Vanna White.  I though the best way to commemorate her special day (and stick it to Kelly) would be a few factoids:
1. Her committed fan-base refer to themselves as “Vannafans.”
2. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, she holds the distinction of being Television’s Most Frequent Clapper. (Hmmm, not seeing Kelly H. Collins in there. Seems like maybe you shouldn’t judge.)
3. At the end of this season, she will have worn over 5,100 different gowns.
4. She is an avid crocheter and has her own line of yarn called, “Vanna’s Choice.”
5. Prior to her career on the Wheel, she & her boobs were featured in Playboy in 1987.
6. She was born was born Vanna Marie Rosich.

A 1936 Propaganda film that has been dug out of the Library of Congress in the ’70’s. Has recently inherited a cult following due to it’s comedic value. This is by no means a “good film” but if you need a good laugh I highly suggest getting a couple of bud’s (pun intended) together and give this a viewing. Almost too campy to be called a B-movie, this is more in the C-minus catagory. There is no better discription for the movie than the tag line listed: A group of teens suduced by the power of “reefer” take a few puffs — and instantly become psychotic killers, jazz addicts and whores.
Another great place to eat and Chicago institution is Ricobenes. It’s claim to fame is the breaded steak sandwich. Its big, breaded, covered with this “red gravy” and extremely messy.  One picture bellow is the classy version from their website and the other a picture of the just opened sandwich posted on RoadFood.com. Imagine something in between the two of them.
I am a firm believer that city workers know the best places to eat in Chicago, and Ricobene’s is always half filled with Police officers. So its also a pretty safe restaurant.
