This Is Not A Lie

Being a fan Supersize Me and King Corn, I was waiting for Food, Inc. to come through the ol’ netflix cue. But I could be seeing it for free earlier than that because it seems that Chipotle, who is known for crazy marketing schemes like giving away burritos on tax day (or not), is going to be sponsoring free screenings of the movie according to The Hollywood Reporter. Check out Chipotle’s site for where the screenings are being held. Below is the trailer.

The Dead Weather Revisited

the-dead-weather

For those of ya’ll interested in The Dead Weather, the whole cd is playing on them facebooks. Jack White is becoming what I imagine Prince is to another generation. My theory is that there is a large group of people that will always buy a Prince stuff not based on what they hear, but what they have heard before. His albums always do well regardless of radio play or his crazy marketing schemes. I will always buy music that Jack White puts out regardless of whether I have heard it or not because he hasn’t let me down yet.  And now he has a subscription service available from his Third Man Records.  For a fee, you can get a couple 7″ a year plus t-shirts and other things as a member.

(for those of you who don’t know, “Eddie” refers to eddie lopez, a former joke street guard who works in the signature room at the hancock. and the only reason it’s signed “trav” is because he had to go to ‘work’ and didn’t have enough time to finnish signing his name.)

i tip my hat to you austin, you sly little devil, i have a feeling you and math college are going to get along REAL well.
