It is an video that has been around for awhile for song that has been around for longer, but I like this fan video for Daft Punk’s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and think its worth posting. And, if you haven’t seen it before, its new to you. The other reason why I thought it was a good post was because Stereogum has a post about all the videos it inspired. The daft bodies is somewhat creative, but the other ones are kinda painful.
Just because you might think it was hilarious when Jennifer Garner did the “Thriller” dance in “13 Going on 30” does not mean that you should make a video of yourself doing it. We all know that its funnier when you bug the DJ to play it at the bar and then can only do the first ten seconds of the dance over and over again. But I digress.

It’s getting to be that time when people start compiling their “Best of 2007” lists. New York Magazine via Pop Candy came up with a list of the best internet videos of the year and this video is definitely a good candidate. It’s basically a prank that someone at CollegeHumor.com played on a coworker that escalated into this:

Sweet Tits

Michael Cera
Since Arrested Development was cancelled, I watch anything that has the Bluths in it. Michael Cera has been keeping busy since the show with Superbad and his webshow Clark and Michael. He is so good at being the awkward kid that he never plays anything else. In this video, Sweet Tits, I think that they try to play off of that. It is from a very funny show directed by Bob Odenkirk called Derek and Simon.

Rumble Strips

While I am lukewarm to their other songs, Motorcycle, by the Rumble Strips is phenomenal. They are finally going to do a tour of the US with the Cold War Kids, but Chicago ain’t on the tour. I first fell in love with them from their music video for it. Check them out.
