Like a Moth to a Flame

janet-stinkson

Weird excuse to do a Neil photoshop with Janet’s handbra, but oh well.
The Moth is a storytelling series where people go up on stage and tell a great story without notes. Some are sad, some are hilarious, but most are interesting and worth a listen. They broadcast the best ones on NPR every week. You can download the podcast or listen to a few online at the website.
Go get hooked now because tomorrow (and every last Tuesday of the month) the Moth is taking place at Martyrs on Lincoln at 8PM. Who’s in?

Only the lonely…

So who remembers video dating? Sometime in the 1980s people in America found it harder and harder to meet new and interesting people. The idea that you could randomly go to a Video Dating Parlor and in complete intimacy record your idea of the perfect woman and at the same time describe a bit about yourself appealed to so many people. PS: the theme song is fucking brilliant!

So Much Pun

So I’ve noticed more and more these days Austin’s ever so quirky Facebook status’. One recent one involved him using a pun when talking about the show burn notice, naturally I obliged to comment with my own very horribly-best I could come up with pun as well. BUT more importantly it forced me to recall this certain website I found while at work work and upon finding it proceeded to tell myself that I would BruceBlog it when I got home; but alas I didn’t. So now with said introduction I bring you SO MUCH PUN.
