More Music!

During our week stay in St. Louis, our host, Rachel, told us about this amazing, community-owned radio station there called KDHX. It is like Chicago’s WXRT wants to be. Kind of like a college radio station for adults. Because they are community-owned, they do not have commercials. Another cool feature is that they re-schedule the shows every year, so each year they get new dj’s and shows change. And apparently the process to become a dj there is pretty rigorous. Anyways, in addition to finding the Aggrolites, here is another jam that I found via the station from the Oblivians:

If this is a little too much for your friday, you can download De La Soul’s catalog via their website.

Sorry for the lack of funny videos, I have been listening to a lot of music lately and tried not to be distracted by watching videos.

Listened to this reggae band, the Aggrolites, on the radio the other day, looked them up on Spotify, then got this different song stuck in head. Not till much after I decided I liked it did I realize it was a kid’s song from Yo Gabba Gabba. So either enjoy, or sorry for getting this stuck in your head:

Take a load off

With more trailers coming out, here is some more promo for the new Muppets movie. Via Mike (despite the fact he hates this song – or just the Band).
