New Sturgill

Thanks to Brendy for the tip. In addition to Sturgill being in a Lena Waithe movie, Queen and Slim, he also has new song that is being significantly featured in the new Jim Jarmusch film, The Dead Don’t Die. According to a press release (and Steregum), “The just-released track plays a prominent role throughout The Dead Don’t Die, from the opening credits to the close.” Simpson is often mentioned by name in the movie, and it seems he appears in it too; according to IMDB, he plays “Sturgill Zombie.” Check it out:
