Monster Mash-ups

For anyone who enjoyed The Grey Album or Jadiohead, peep this: Jay and Marvin, Jay-Z mixed with Marvin Gaye. Jay has a history of using old soul samples, so it only makes sense that a mash-up like this would work (not a very creative idea either).  Go to The Animal Show to get a listen of some of the better tracks.

Also,  if you like rap and The Black Keys, peep this: BLAKROC.  Its a collaboration between Black Keys, Damon Dash, and featuring MC’s such as RZA, Mos Def, Q-Tip, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch & Raekwon.  Exciting.

Yet at the same time, I can’t help but laugh at Joan’s recent find: People of Walmart.  The only disappointing part of this site is that it is missing the back story to why some of these people look they way they do; you know that is probably just as entertaining.

I have a lot respect for people who get the balls to take the risk of putting themselves out there on dating services, but I think the reason that it’s risky is because there are people on those services who need to work on themselves before they can think about being with someone else.  And those people are also very entertaining, probably the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while (via PopCandy):
