During our week stay in St. Louis, our host, Rachel, told us about this amazing, community-owned radio station there called KDHX. It is like Chicago’s WXRT wants to be. Kind of like a college radio station for adults. Because they are community-owned, they do not have commercials. Another cool feature is that they re-schedule the shows every year, so each year they get new dj’s and shows change. And apparently the process to become a dj there is pretty rigorous.
