Sorry about the drought of posts lately, I’ve been enjoying looking at the poster image of a creepy look on a jumping B*Witched girl when you first pull up the site. Well, to add to a previous post, if you haven’t been keeping up with the Number Ones feature from Stereogum, here are some gems I have found:
- A Dave Clark Five number one, Over and Over, was a cover of this great version.
- The Byrd’s Turn, Turn, Turn was recently, decently covered by My Morning Jacket.
- The story behind the popularization of the McCoy’s Hang on Sloopy is fantastic.
