Just a few things to consider:

• This James Brown biography
• A detour downtown for the last week of the Strandbeest reanimations. Here is the schedule. The videos are kinda weird and great.
• The Chicago History Museum opened the Lincoln’s Undying Words exhibit recently, and it looks awesome.  Ohh it is an exhibit full of inspiring and powerful quotes… you had me at ‘four score.’
• In light of the HBO documentary Confirmation, some SCOTUS themed book club additions: The Brethren by Bob Woodward or The Oath: The Obama White House and the Supreme Court by Jeffery Toobin (also wrote The Nine) or for those Ken Burn’s inspired Supreme Power: Franklin Roosevelt and the Supreme Court by Jeff Sheshol.

One of my favorite jams and some well-played historical juxtaposition; check out this film short set in Belfast 1978.

A pretty good portrayal of life in the villages of the YK Delta, and of my old students from Bethel.

I’ve only seen clips of Samantha Bee’s new show, Full Frontal, but this is pretty good.

In case anyone did not see the press release out today. Tickets go on sale in April but you can sign up for an email for early sales.
