If anyone saw the Daily Show a fews week ago with Congressman John Lewis he talked about his graphic novels series, March, about his life and the Civil Rights Movement. I just finished them and would recommend checking them out. Only the first two books are out but if you are into graphic novels/comics I’d also recommend Joe Saccos’ Footnotes in Gaza.

I only recently discovered Beyonce has songs in Spanish (Si Yo Fuera Un Chico or Irreemplazable ft. Pitbull, etc.) which led me to a much belated discovery of this Countdown video with Snuggie kid. I’m just super impressed with the amount of editing this kid must have done. If you already saw it sorry but if not enjoy or just enjoy again.

This Lonesome George memorial is everything I imagine of a nerdy 5,000 Candles in the Wind. If this means Neil’s face photoshopped into either Lonesome George or ‘Lil Sebastian I would not be upset.

But really just go vote dummy. Here is a neat layout for all the basics on candidates and issues.

Early voting and registration ends today at 5 but you can go to any polling place in the city.

Doing some ‘studying’ today and came across these two gems on Ayn Rand. First, the real death of Ayn Rand. Second, Ayn Rand the children’s movie critique does an exceptional job of finding all the messages I missed as a foolish child. Finally, some John Oliver for good measure because it never gets old.
