Bill Burr
Bill Burr, who I first recognized as being certain Chappelle Show sketches, is probably one of my favorite comics right now. Me and Brendy just talked about him and I mentioned him before. My favorites are his bits on the Most Difficult Job on the Planet, the Hoopla around Lance Armstrong, and ordering a sandwich. If you have time, there is also his rant to a Philly crowd where he berates them and their sports for 10 minutes. Though it may be a little much, I thought this video of his rant on Yoko Ono, taken from his podcast, was worth posting:

Splendid Isolation
Some isolated tracks are funny like David Lee Roth singing Running with the Devil and some are “breathtaking.” Another gem that I forgot to mention from that Nerdist podcast was this isolated track from Gimme Shelter from Merry Clayton (who is part of a new documentary about women backup singers called 20 Feet From Stardom). Here is an article about the recording of that track where it says it is generally assumed that the emotional intensity she put into that song caused her to miscarry her baby.
