Though on Complex’s 120 worst rapper name list, Berkeley Place lists him as “one of the best rappers around right now.”  He apparently just got off tour with Kavinsky, and just released a mixtape with a rap over a Kavinsky song that is pretty badass:

The only reason Kavinsky is notable to me is because of the movie Drive, which is pretty bad outside of the opening scene and Albert Brooks stabbing a guy with a fork and knife (not really a spoiler, but were you really going to see it?). The credits after the amazing opening scene is soundtracked perfectly with Kavinsky and CSS’ LoveFoxx “Nightcall“
