Six Degrees
If you haven’t used whosampled.com, it’s a best way to find out which samples of songs, both musically and lyrically. Ie. Did you like Kanye’s Famous? Have you heard Sister Nancy’s version Bam Bam? Or did you know that the Beatles’ Lady Madonna and Richard Pryor were sampled in Sublime’s What I Got?
Anyways, using this amazing database of connections, they now have a game that figures out the degrees of separation between two artists. Try to see if you can get more than 4 degrees.
