The Hipster-Hipster Shake

These videos are wildy funny premise. Pretty enjoyable to watch other people doing it. Call it “the new meme” and all of a sudden I am kinda annoyed by it.  Not hating on a meme because I am a hipster (though I make no case), but hating on it more because I feel like a crotchety old man yelling “these kids and their GD memes!”  Anyways, enjoy:

Bill Wilson

Anyone heard of this guy, Bill Wilson, before? The story that the site selling the 1973 re-issue almost refers to it as a shelved album, but some other places make it seem like he was a little more prolific.

Twin Peaks

I know these are Austin’s least favorite posts, but here is a band that I decided to listen to more of after seeing that a video of theirs was filmed in the Rog. Twin Peak‘s song ” is tied for 1st on rollo & grady’s top songs of 2012.

Also from rollo and grady: a very low-fi cover of “Tears of a Clown.” I normally am not a fan of Smokey, but this one sounds amazing when you boil it down to just the bass line and drum beat. Fucking motown.
