Chris Thile, who you might know as the upcoming replacement host of Prairie Home Companion, member of the Punch Brothers, member of Nickle Creek, has a 15 minute video performing J.S. Bach’s Sonata No. 1 in G Minor, BWV 1001 on his mandolin. If you fast-forward to 11:42, it gets even more amazing. A nice way to start the week:
