Foo Fighters! They are doing their best to promote this new album, Sonic Highways, with a series on HBO and now playing all week on Letterman. Monday, they covered Black Sabbath’s War Pigs with Zac Brown and yesterday, they covered Heart’s Kick It Out (though is it a cover if they play with Ann and Nancy Wilson?). They sound really good:

Also, in that same Rolling Stone post, it mentions that Foo Fighters are playing a show at the Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville on the 17th because it was where Grohl saw his first punk show. Wtf?

Don’t know much else about this new retro soul singer, but the two songs on his Soundcloud page are great (especially on the past rainy days):
