Around The World

Mike alerted me to the new Kings of Leon album coming out. While the two singles released already, WALLS and Waste a Moment, continue their decline in moody rock, Stereogum has a post about anther KOL release that is a little more upbeat. They put it very succinctly: “Around The World connects most directly to the ‘Southern rock Strokes’ sound of their early days. It’s not exactly an Aha Shake Heartbreak outtake, but those jittery bass and guitar figures are hitting the spot this morning.”
