American Hero?

I could not be happier that the Colbert Report exists but often I do miss “This Week in God”

I’m feeling sentimental;

Raise the God Machine

As if the History Channel did not produce enough WWII documentaries. This new Quentin Tarantino film looks amazing. To be fair when Billy first showed me the trailor I was only half sold but now I am all for it.Also interesting to note the original movie.

America’s first president and first badass.

In another effort to get virtually nothing done at the library I thought I could post about this new-to-me band, DeVotchKa. My friend and pseudo family member Billy Malloy recently passed two of their discs my way and it has been enjoyable every since. Like everything else I post DeVotchKa “fuses Romani, Greek, Slavic and Bolero music with American punk and folk roots” which anyone you know me, you know how I feel about Eastern Europe. Check out their myspace and finally for what one can only hope to be actual facts.
