Being unemployed is gives me a lot of time to read more music blogs. A new one that I like a lot is Rollo & Grady. They have a couple posts a day, with very listenable music. They have a lot of posts about the Rolling Stones, My Morning Jacket, Radiohead, and The Whigs. The Whigs are another great rock band from Athens, Georgia. The most recent post about the Whigs included an interview with the lead singer, Parker Gispert. Check ’em out. Here is a video from my favorite song of theirs from letterman:

Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days remake?
Ron Howard, Andy Griffith, and Henry Winkler reprise their roles for their own political agenda. The video is not ha ha funny but rather interesting to see how much Ron Howard still looks like Opie.

30 Rock
The 3rd season of 30 Rock starts on Oct. 30 (what a wierd coincidence) anyway for those of you, but mainly me, who cannot wait, the season premiere is available over at Hulu.com. I gave it a quick once over and was amused.

Darkness
This band has been around for a while and are actually broken up right now, but you haven’t seen their videos, then they’re new to you, right? The video for “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” was how I first heard about them. After that, they made awesome videos like Growing On Me, Friday Night, Love Is Only a Feeling. But my all time favorite has to be the video for Girlfriend.
